Emerging from the successful 1999 launch of Mercado Central and formally incorporated in 2003, LEDC has evolved into a trusted partner for Latino and immigrant business owners throughout Minnesota. The organization was created by Latinos, for Latinos, reflecting a deep understanding of the unique challenges and aspirations of the communities it serves. LEDC's mission centers on transforming the community by creating economic opportunities for Latinos, supported by a vision of a thriving multicultural community enriched with Latino leadership, culture, and economic influence.
