Latino Providers Network Inc
About Latino Providers Network Inc
Since its establishment in 1992, Latino Providers Network Inc has grown from a grassroots gathering of concerned residents and organizations into a powerful community force transforming service delivery across Baltimore, MD. Born from the urgent need to address challenges facing the emerging Latino community, the organization evolved into a formally incorporated nonprofit with a clear mission: to maximize resources in the Latino community through advocacy, education, and networking. What began as an ad hoc information-sharing group recognized that meaningful progress required structured coordination and collaboration. Today, Latino Providers Network unites a diverse membership of over 70 organizations and 200 individuals committed to building a united, self-sufficient, and empowered Latino community. The organization's work extends beyond service coordination to include leadership development, capacity building, and strategic advocacy that amplifies Latino voices in Baltimore's policy discussions. Supported by partnerships with major institutions including the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Bank of America, and the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Latino Providers Network demonstrates the power of collective action. The organization's vision reflects deep community roots and commitment to ensuring that Baltimore's Latino residents have equitable access to quality services in health, education, immigration support, employment, business development, and cultural enrichment.
