I am an associate on the Business Law and Healthcare team. I practice general corporate law, including the formation and structure of business entities. I draft governing documents such as By-Laws, Operating Agreements, Membership Interest Purchase Agreements, and amendments thereto, as well as negotiates stock and asset acquisitions, shareholder and employment agreements, and reviews commercial real estate leases.
My practice focuses on the representation of healthcare professionals, group practices, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, management service organizations, ambulatory care facilities and nursing homes. More specifically, I regularly analyze federal and state statutes and regulations in connection with the Anti-Kickback laws, Stark Laws, Board of Medical Examiners regulations, HIPPA, HITECH, self-referrals laws and fraud and abuse laws. Additionally, I advise on corporate transactional matters with respect to the formation and structure of healthcare entities, joint ventures and shareholder-physician agreements.
I am member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Health and Hospital Law Section and Business Law Section, the American Health Lawyers Association (“AHLA”), the Middlesex County Bar Association, the New York County Lawyer’s Association and the Young Professionals Council of the American Health Lawyers Association.
