About Los Angeles Chapter of Albertine Foundation
Rooted in the mission to foster meaningful connection between Los Angeles, the southwestern United States, and France, the Los Angeles Chapter of Albertine Foundation cultivates vibrant cultural dialogue through three primary fields: Art, Education, and Cinema. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Albertine Foundation (formerly known as FACE Foundation) has built a community-centered approach to French-American cultural exchange that values living artists, emerging voices, and bilingual education. The Los Angeles chapter engages diverse audiences by bringing together artists, educators, institutions, and thought leaders to spark conversations about society's pressing issues while nurturing long-term cooperation between communities. Operating in partnership with Villa Albertine, the organization demonstrates a deep commitment to expanding accessibility to French language and Francophone cultures throughout Southern California and beyond. By providing residencies, grants, and collaborative opportunities, the foundation creates unique pathways for creative professionals to explore new insights and share their work across borders. The Los Angeles Chapter remains dedicated to strengthening ties across the West Coast's dynamic cultural landscape, positioning itself as a unique connector between France and a wide network of artistic, educational, and cinematic communities in the region.
