Marta A. Zaborska is a Senior Attorney at Chilton Yambert Porter's Corporate Practice. Marta provides general corporate, employment, environmental and other legal services to the firm's clients in numerous industries, including food and beverage, chemicals, entertainment, insurance, real estate, transportation, and manufacturing and service businesses, among others.
Prior to joining CYP in 2023 Marta gained extensive litigation and trial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all areas of personal injury including construction negligence, products liability, medical malpractice, premises liability and auto liability.
Born and raised in Poland, Marta graduated with honors from University of Wroclaw, School of Law in 2006. After earning her law degree, she decided to relocate to the United States and continue her legal career. In 2010 she received her Juris Doctor degree from the Valparaiso University School of Law, graduating summa cum laude.
At Valparaiso, Marta was a Moot Court Honor Society member and served as a professor's research assistant conducting extensive studies on regulations of the consumer credit and banking system in the European Union. In addition, she completed a judicial externship program with the Honorable Judge Ronald F. Bartkowicz at the Cook County Circuit Court. Graduating in only two years, Marta was recognized with an Outstanding International Graduate Award by Valparaiso University School of Law.
Over the years, Marta has volunteered her time by providing pro bono legal services for the indigent at Amicus Polonae Legal Clinic. Committed to her Polish heritage, for several years Marta served as a Board Member of a Polish Bar Association - Advocates Society and in 2017 was elected its President. She served the Advocates' as President for a year term and currently is a member of its Board of Governors.
