Mimosas & Menopause - Houston
About Mimosas & Menopause - Houston
💫 This isn’t just a brunch. It’s a reclamation.
You’re not broken. You’re not alone.
And you are absolutely not too late to be well.
Mimosas & Menopause is an intimate, spa-inspired gathering for Black women 40+ navigating perimenopause, menopause, and midlife shifts — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
This is where rest meets ritual.
Where real talk meets tenderness.
Where you remember that softness is not optional — it’s overdue.
💛 What to Expect
🧘🏾♀️ A Sanctuary Entrance
Petals underfoot. A lavender-scented towel in your hands. Soft jazz in the air. From the moment you arrive, you’ll know — this space was designed to hold you.
🥂 A Sensory Brunch Experience
A hormone-conscious, bloat-friendly brunch (that still tastes like indulgence), paired with crafted mimosas using ingredients like pomegranate and raspberry leaf. Nourishment as a love language.
🎤 Conversations That Don’t Hold Back
Led by culturally competent experts, we’re talking about everything: hot flashes, sleep, intimacy, irritability, and all the things your doctor didn’t say. No shame. No stigma. Just realness and restoration.
📓 Reflection + Release
You’ll journal. You’ll laugh. You might cry. You’ll unlearn what it means to suffer in silence — and walk away with tools, truth, and sisterhood.

Bougie Brunchers
Bougie Brunchers emerged in 2024, born from a pivotal moment in American democracy. When 92% of Black women stood united to protect democratic values—yet found ourselves standing largely alone—we made a powerful choice. Rather than continue bearing the weight of others, we chose to create spaces for our own restoration and joy. Our intimate gatherings are more than brunches. They are intentional spaces where accomplished Black women can exhale deeply, connect authentically, and celebrate our resilience. Here, we honor our collective wisdom while prioritizing our well-being and nurturing connections that understand both our strength and our need for respite.
