My Brand Is Black

https://www.mybrandisblack.co/

Created by black people for black people, My Brand is Black is a movement and marketplace that exists to uplift black owned businesses by providing opportunities and empowerment that lead to ascension. The founders, Drea Nicole and Mark Madden, were inspired to start MBIB after realizing there was a dire need to create something that not only dignified black businesses and their owners but also put them in position to be patronized and valued by the community. What started as an Instagram account to promote black brands has morphed into local popup shops that attract hundreds of people and generate thousands of dollars across a multitude of vendors. Plans to host popups nationwide and offer new services - such as vendor matchmaking and vendor management for event- are underway. Although things are only just getting started, the brand is quickly growing while making exponential impact. My Brand is Black isn't a trend, it's Black excellence personified!
