The National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) Houston Chapter proudly presents its inaugural Scholarship Program, a milestone event demonstrating our commitment to education, innovation, and the development of future leaders within the insurance industry.

This premier program will convene industry professionals, executives, and students for a forward‑looking discussion on the global impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the insurance industry. As AI continues to reshape how insurers operate, assess risk, and serve customers, attendees will gain valuable insight into how these advancements are influencing the future of insurance.

As a cornerstone of this event, NAAIA Houston will award two $1,000 scholarships to undergraduate college students who are pursuing insurance‑related fields. These scholarships represent NAAIA Houston’s investment in emerging talent and its mission to expand access, opportunity, and leadership within the industry.

The Houston Chapter was created to develop relationships within the insurance industry among African-Americans, POC and Others. Our focus is to share resources, and educate the Houston community about opportunities within all sides of insurance. Therefore, our members are informed, educated and empowered as a result of programs and activities that promote continued learning, growth, development and a focused approach to career management and community service. NAAIA-Houston is dedicated to empowering African-American insurance professionals currently in the industry as well as increasing their numbers citywide. We engage in the sharing of information for personal growth and professional development while providing opportunities for networking, continuing education, and building mutually beneficial partnerships. We build relationships with traditional insurance industry trade associations and other organizations representing the interest of minorities in the ever growing, emerging multicultural marketplace of this business.
