Founded in 2017, Naples Pride emerged from a grassroots vision to celebrate the LGBTQ community of Southwest Florida while raising awareness and funds for critical needs. What began as the Pride with Purpose Festival has evolved into a comprehensive community organization rooted in unity, inclusion, and social change. The Naples Pride Center, opened in 2020 through community support and volunteer dedication, now serves as a safe, welcoming space where LGBTQ individuals and families can gather, connect, and access support. The organization's mission centers on uniting and empowering the LGBTQ community of SWFL through education, advocacy, and fostering equality for all. Led by a dedicated team of volunteers and board members, Naples Pride demonstrates deep commitment to creating an environment where people feel safe, celebrated, and valued. The organization hosts signature events including the annual Naples Pridefest festival, the elegant Naples Pride Gala, and the Miss Naples Pride Pageant, each celebrating self-expression and community pride.
