Since its establishment in 1981, the National Asian Pacific American Law Student Association has served as the definitive voice for Asian Pacific American law students in the legal community. Operating from Washington, DC, this completely student-led organization is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of 12 dedicated law students representing diverse backgrounds and perspectives from across the country. NAPALSA was founded on the principle of supporting, advocating for, and amplifying the voices of Asian Pacific Americans navigating legal education and the profession. The organization is deeply committed to fostering inclusion and celebrating the rich diversity within the Asian Pacific American legal community. Beyond professional development, NAPALSA emphasizes community-building through regional social programming and collaborative partnerships with student groups, affinity organizations, and national legal networks.
