About National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. Columbus Chapter
Rooted in the mission of bridging opportunity gaps for Black professionals, the National Association of Black Accountants Columbus Chapter stands as a vital community organization dedicated to developing the next generation of business leaders in Columbus, OH. NABA's Columbus Chapter specifically addresses the professional needs of its members while working to build leaders who will shape the future of the accounting and finance profession. The organization recognizes that representation and access matter in the business world, and it actively works to enlarge the pipeline of Black business leaders at every level—from accounting and finance to entrepreneurship and executive leadership. Beyond professional development, the chapter fosters a culture of service and community impact, encouraging members to give back and create positive change in the Columbus community and beyond. Through its Accelerated Career Awareness Program (ACAP), the chapter introduces high school students from underrepresented backgrounds to careers in accounting and finance, while also building financial literacy and interpersonal skills. The Columbus Chapter creates spaces where Black professionals can authentically connect, collaborate, and support one another's growth.
