National Association of Real Estate Brokers Louisville Chapter

Since its establishment in 1947, the National Association of Real Estate Brokers has stood as the oldest and most respected minority professional organization in American real estate, and the Louisville, KY chapter carries forward this legacy of advocacy and community empowerment. Founded on the principle of 'Democracy in Housing,' NAREB Louisville is dedicated to uniting real estate professionals in the mission of creating fair, equitable housing opportunities and removing barriers to homeownership for underrepresented communities. The organization's members, known as REALISTs, uphold a strict code of professional ethics and integrity, ensuring that communities of color are treated with dignity and respect throughout the homebuying process. Beyond professional development, NAREB Louisville actively engages in meaningful community initiatives, including financial literacy programs and homeownership education, working alongside developers, investors, and community partners to foster sustainable wealth-building through real estate investment. The chapter celebrates over 70 years of participation in legislative activities and fair housing advocacy, creating pathways for minority individuals and families to achieve generational wealth and economic empowerment. By joining NAREB Louisville, professionals become part of an inspiring movement that merges historical significance with contemporary community impact, contributing to a more just and equitable real estate landscape in Louisville and beyond. The organization serves as a trusted network where real estate professionals can grow their careers while making a tangible difference in the lives of families seeking homeownership opportunities.
