Serving the Los Angeles, CA community since its establishment, the National Congress of Black Women Los Angeles Chapter embodies a commitment to educational, political, and cultural development for African American women and youth. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, NCBW Los Angeles represents African American women making a difference by confronting forces in the cultural, economic, and community environment that threaten the well-being of Black families and youth.
The organization's mission extends beyond political engagement to encompass comprehensive community support and empowerment. NCBW Los Angeles Chapter provides counseling and resources for victims of domestic violence, supports military families, contributes to youth success, and advocates for improved healthcare access.
