Founded in 2012 in Washington, DC, the National Filipino American Lawyers Association emerged from a pivotal meeting of Filipino American attorneys at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) convention. What began as "Project Momentum" has grown into a thriving national family of legal professionals and law students united by a shared commitment to community advancement and professional excellence. NFALA operates as an all-inclusive attorney organization dedicated to uniting the Filipino American community, helping members succeed across the legal profession and various industries, and advocating for Filipino American interests at the national level.
