Nejashee Muslim Community
The Nejashee Muslim Community is a registered non-profit organization with over 70 active members based in New York and New Jersey. For the past 15 years, this organization has hosted various fundraisers, cultural events and religious ceremonies. However, the continued growth of this organization is contingent on establishing a community center where members can congregate and participate in promoting Islamic values, bridging generational gaps and overall, serving the holistic needs of its members. It is critical for the longevity of the Nejashee Muslim Community that the younger generation is engaged and actively contributing to the mission of the organization. This can only be ensured by creating a space where children can connect with their faith and culture in a meaningful way.
