Since 1995, the Oregon Korea Foundation has served as a vital pillar of the Korean-American community in Portland, OR, rooted in the vision of former presidents of the Korean Society of Oregon. What began as a grassroots effort to maintain the Korean Community Building has evolved into a comprehensive philanthropic organization guided by the values of cultural preservation, community stewardship, and compassionate giving. The foundation's establishment was made possible through the generous donations and passionate efforts of numerous Korean-Americans from diverse backgrounds, honoring a legacy that traces back to 1967 when the Korean Society of Oregon was first established.
