In Danville, PA and throughout the Central Susquehanna Valley, PFLAG Danville represents a loving community united in support of LGBTQ+ people and their families. As part of a movement that began decades ago, this local chapter carries forward the mission of building families and allies who stand together, educate themselves and their neighbors, and advocate for a world where all people are respected, valued, and affirmed. The Danville chapter understands that coming out, navigating identity, and supporting loved ones can be deeply personal journeys that benefit from community connection and shared experience. PFLAG Danville creates a judgment-free space where parents, siblings, friends, and LGBTQ+ individuals themselves can find belonging and understanding. Operating within a larger network of nearly 400 chapters across America, the Danville organization brings both local intimacy and national resources to the Central Susquehanna Valley. The chapter is committed to pushing back against harmful policies and discrimination while celebrating the pride and authenticity of LGBTQ+ people in the region.
