About PFLAG Tampa
We, the parents, families, friends and allies of LGBTQ+ persons, celebrate diversity and envision a society that embraces everyone, including those of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. Only with respect, dignity and equality for all will we reach our full potential as human beings, individually and collectively. PFLAG welcomes the participation and support of all who share in, and hope to realize, this vision.
PFLAG is a national non-profit LGBTQ+ support organization with over 200,000 members and supporters and over 400 chapters in the United States. PFLAG chapters are in communities in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. PFLAG has been saving lives, strengthening families, and changing hearts, minds and laws since 1972.
PFLAG Tampa is a nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any political party or religious institution.
PFLAG is the extended family of the LGBTQ+ community. We’re made up of LGBTQ+ individuals, family members and allies. Because together, we’re stronger.
