For decades, Philippine-American Friendship Community Inc. has served as a vital gathering place and support system for Filipino-Americans in Jersey City, NJ and surrounding communities. Founded on the principle that all Filipino-Americans deserve the opportunity to live peacefully while assimilating into mainstream America alongside diverse ethnic communities, PAFCOM has grown into one of the state's largest not-for-profit organizations. Led by inspired community leaders with bold, implementable ideas and powered by engaged members from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, PAFCOM functions as more than an organization—it is a village and community dedicated to giving Filipino-Americans a voice and platform for action. The organization's three core missions reflect its holistic approach: nurturing closer relationships among Filipino-Americans and other ethnic groups to build neighborly community life; developing supportive socio-economic and educational plans for vulnerable populations; and preserving Filipino cultural heritage while promoting mutual understanding across diverse communities.
