About Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc.
Since its founding in 1995, the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. has served as the cultural cornerstone for Filipino-Americans throughout Tampa, FL and the surrounding region. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit umbrella organization, PCFI unites Filipino-American organizations with a shared mission: to preserve and present Philippine heritage and culture as a legacy for future generations while enriching the diversity of Tampa Bay and the state of Florida.
At the heart of PCFI's work is a commitment to community connection and cultural continuity. The organization recognizes the importance of sharing Philippine traditions with both American-born Filipinos and individuals of various backgrounds who seek deeper understanding of Filipino culture. PCFI's leadership, including dedicated executive officers and board members, has worked seamlessly since 1995 to build meaningful programs that resonate with families and celebrate Filipino identity.
The completion of the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center in 2001 represents the culmination of years of community effort and vision. This magnificent facility, with its tastefully designed entrance, majestic fountain, and well-maintained gardens, welcomes visitors into a space that honors Philippine artistic traditions. Beyond hosting performances and exhibitions, PCFI extends its support to other ethnic groups and culturally underserved communities, believing that cultural exchange strengthens the entire Tampa Bay region. Through educational initiatives, special events, and community partnerships, PCFI demonstrates that preserving heritage is fundamentally about building stronger, more connected communities where Filipino culture thrives and inspires future generations.
