About Philly Connect® Bible Study - The Word & Community
Philly Connect® is a co-ed faith based community in Houston. Join us for a time in the Word at Bible Study every Thursday at 6:30pm!
Philly Connect® is a co-ed faith-based community for young adults who are serious about growing spiritually, building real relationships, and living out their faith in everyday life.
Every Thursday, we meet to study Scripture, have honest conversations, and talk about how faith connects to real life, from relationships and purpose to identity and growth. This is a space where you can show up as you are, ask real questions and grow alongside people who are committed to becoming who God is calling them to be.
We’re here to do life together in a way that’s rooted in truth and community.
Whether you’ve been walking with God for a while or you’re still figuring things out, you’re welcome here! Come for the conversation, stay for the community.

Why We’re Called Philly Connect®
Our name is inspired by the Church of Philadelphia in Revelation 3, a community God commended for staying faithful in challenging times. That same posture shapes who we are as we pursue truth, growth, unity, and real transformation together.
Philly Connect® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and everything we do, from dinner to discipleship, is funded by the community, for the community. If you feel led to support the mission, we’re grateful. Your genorosity helps sustain and build what God is doing through Philly Connect®. At the end of this, you’ll see an option to RSVP for free or include a donation, choose whatever works for you. This is a space where faith meets real life. Philly Connect® is a Houston-based co-ed faith community named after the church of Philadelphia in Revelation 3:7–13, the faithful church that God never rebuked. We are a generation of young adults who live set apart for Jesus. Our vision is simple: to be a faithful people who stand firm for God, keep His Word, and live fruitful, purposeful lives. We gather weekly for Bible study, digging into God’s Word, tackling real-life topics and encouraging one another through Scripture, prayer and testimony. Beyond our studies, we’ve built true community through: Spiritual growth with sound teaching and discussion Social connection with meaningful friendships through events Purpose in action through service projects and outreach Every gathering is an open door, a place to belong, to be loved and to encounter God in a real way.
