Our Vision: Missouri is a state in which LGBTQ+ people – every demographic, race, ethnicity, zip code, and experience – are valued and thriving.
Our Mission: PROMO confronts systemic inequities to liberate the full spectrum of the LGBTQ+ community from discrimination and oppression.
PROMO is Missouri's statewide organization advocating for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender equality through legislative action, electoral politics, grassroots organizing, and community education.
We identify LGBTQ rights supporters, educate them on the issues, give them the tools and the confidence to participate in the political process, and get results. PROMO's goals are to help LGBTQ Missourians create a supportive and visible community, become active in the democratic process, and work for their equal protection under the law. We build community awareness and grassroots support for LGBTQ equality and increase civic participation of LGBTQ Missourians.
