Founded in 1982, San Jose Vietnamese Language Center has grown into the largest Vietnamese language school for overseas Vietnamese, serving families throughout San Jose, CA with a commitment to cultural preservation and community service. Established and operated by the Vietnam Youth Union, the center pursues three core missions: preserving Vietnamese culture, providing social services to the community, and promoting freedom and democracy for Vietnam. What began as modest classroom instruction in a garage has evolved into a comprehensive educational institution with dedicated facilities, welcoming students every Sunday morning. The center recognizes that language education is inseparable from cultural identity, which is why its programs integrate Vietnamese history, ethics, and social values alongside language instruction.
