Since its establishment, SASE at ASU has grown into a dynamic diversity organization that celebrates Asian heritage while preparing the next generation of scientists and engineers for meaningful careers and community contributions.
At its core, SASE at ASU believes in creating balanced experiences that nurture both professional growth and personal connections. The chapter recognizes that lasting success comes from strong relationships and supportive communities. Throughout the academic year, members participate in social events including roller skating outings, movie and game nights, karaoke gatherings, and dining experiences centered around boba tea—activities designed to forge genuine friendships alongside professional development.
The organization's commitment to community extends beyond its membership. Since 2021, SASE at ASU has hosted an annual Field Day event in collaboration with other Fulton organizations, providing sporting competitions that bring together diverse student groups across campus. Additionally, the chapter has cultivated a SASE Dance Team specializing in K-Pop performances, which recently represented the organization at the annual AAPASC Culture Night, showcasing the intersection of cultural celebration and community pride.
