Founded by a dedicated group of dynamic South Asian attorneys, the South Asian Bar Association of Southern California (SABA-SC) has grown into a vital community institution serving Los Angeles and surrounding counties. The organization's mission centers on advancing South Asian attorneys while fostering goodwill, fellowship, and unity among the community. Since its founding, SABA-SC has demonstrated unwavering commitment to giving back through its volunteer-staffed Public Interest Foundation, which has awarded grants to numerous agencies and law students providing critical services to the local community. To date, SABA-SC has donated over $275,000 and established partnerships with 15 community organizations, making a tangible difference in the lives of those served. Beyond professional development, SABA-SC is deeply invested in increasing South Asian participation in civic affairs and government, believing that diverse voices strengthen the legal system and society. The organization facilitates meaningful exchange of ideas and information among members while creating opportunities for business networking and professional growth. SABA-SC's inclusive approach welcomes not only South Asian attorneys but also attorneys interested in issues affecting the South Asian community.
