Since its founding in 1981 by Kerstin Lane, Swedish Women's Educational Association Chicago has been a cornerstone of community for Swedish and Swedish-speaking women navigating life abroad. What began as a dedicated group has blossomed into a thriving organization of approximately 110 women representing all ages and diverse backgrounds, united by shared cultural heritage and mutual support.
