About Swedish Women’s Educational Association Dallas
SWEA International is a global organization with a unique international women's network that protects the Swedish language, Swedish culture and Swedish traditions. SWEA has approximately 6,000 members and is present on 5 continents in around 30 countries with as many as 77 branches worldwide. SWEA Dallas is part of the MAME region, Middle America, which consists of a total of 9 departments; Austin, Chicago, Colorado, Dallas, Florida, Houston, Michigan, Minnesota and Toronto (Canada).
SWEA Dallas has about 90 members and we organize various events, both for family and the general public, such as Easter, Valborg, midsummer and Christmas bazaars with Lucia trains.
SWEA Dallas is a local branch of SWEA International and part of a worldwide organization whose purpose is to promote the Swedish language and to spread Swedish culture and tradition.
