About Swedish Women’s Educational Association Seattle
We are about 90 Swedish-speaking women of mixed ages who meet to have fun together and to learn, be inspired and develop. If you are about to move here or perhaps have already lived here for a while and are a Swedish-speaking woman, we warmly welcome you to become a member. We have a varied program for both professionals and accompanying persons. We celebrate Swedish traditions and holidays with a national day lunch, crayfish slice and Christmas dinner, we make study visits to companies and workplaces and have our own choir and book clubs.
We are part of the global SWEA which is present in 33 countries on five continents and has a total of 7500 members.
A membership in SWEA provides a strong connection with other women with the same experiences in a unique international women's network.
SWEA gives you a unique opportunity to network, meet new friends, gain local knowledge and if you want - get involved and develop in a fantastic association with women from different backgrounds but who have a lot in common.
