Temple Sinai Holocaust Remembrance Concert
About Temple Sinai Holocaust Remembrance Concert
Missing Voices is a moving musical tribute and concert experience celebrating Jewish composers silenced in the past.
This powerful concert, performed by French pianist Demitri Malignan and American soprano Lily Arbisser, as part of a national tour, sheds light on the irreparable loss of Jewish classical composers during the Holocaust. Missing Voices is a vital act of cultural restitution, bringing powerful, forgotten voices back to the stage.
There will be a Sips and Sweets Reception following the 75-minute concert.
The timing is significant as Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, falls the following week. It is a day to commemorate the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust during World War II.
Tickets are $25, students are free. Details or call 941-924-1802
