About Texas Asian Pan-Hellenic Council

Texas Asian Pan-Hellenic Council represents a vibrant community of nine Asian-interest Greek-letter organizations dedicated to enriching student life at the University of Texas Austin. Since its establishment in 2000, TAPC has served as a unifying force within UT's Sorority and Fraternity Life, bringing together diverse Asian-American student voices and fostering meaningful connections across the Austin campus.

At its heart, the Council embodies four foundational pillars: leadership, scholarship, service, and Asian-American cultural awareness. These values guide every initiative, ensuring that member organizations and the broader UT Austin community benefit from intentional programming rooted in cultural celebration and personal growth. TAPC recognizes that community support extends beyond internal organizational development—the Council actively contributes to campus-wide initiatives that benefit all students.

The organization creates welcoming spaces for students to explore Greek life through events like Greek Sneak Peek, which showcases the talents and personalities of member organizations while remaining accessible to everyone, regardless of background or prior knowledge of Greek culture. The Asian Cultural Expo further demonstrates TAPC's commitment to community building, transforming the University of Texas Austin campus into a celebration of Asian-American heritage and contemporary student expression.

By fostering collaboration between member organizations and other campus groups, Texas Asian Pan-Hellenic Council strengthens the fabric of student life in Austin. The Council's work demonstrates that Greek life can serve as a vehicle for cultural pride, academic achievement, and meaningful service. Through its dedication to supporting both member organizations and the broader UT Austin community, TAPC continues building a more inclusive, culturally aware campus environment where Asian-American students thrive and contribute their unique perspectives.
