Roselle Sister Cities Association German Committee
The German Committee was formed in 2019. Because Roselle was founded by German Americans and German immigrants, our goal was to establish a German Sister City by 2022 to coincide with the Roselle Centennial Celebration. On October 7, 2021 - on Roselle's 99th Anniversary, the RSCA German Committee and the Laatzen International Friendship organization in Laatzen, Germany formed a Friendship Cities relationship. Delegations from Laatzen have visited Roselle in October, 2022 and August, 2025, and delegations from Roselle have visited Laatzen multiple times over the years. These visits, along with our monthly video conferences and regular communications, have deepened our relationship with the Laatzen members and we are now Sister Cities (final official documents are in process of being completed).
