Nu Psi Zeta chapter was chartered on March 8, 1987 to serve Peekskill, NY and its surrounding communities. As the first Greek lettered organization chartered in Peekskill, we take pride in being a model community service organization while embodying the principles upon which our great sorority was founded: Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. We participate in and contribute to local and nationally recognized service events such as, Support Connections Breast & Ovarian Cancer Support-A-Walk, March of Dimes, March for Babies, St. Jude's Children’s Research Hospital, and Peekskill Department of Social Services, among others. We also award thousands of dollars in scholarships annually to help send Peekskill area high school students to college. Nu Psi Zeta chapter is part of the sorority’s Awesome Atlantic Region and is comprised of over 35 strong Beautiful, Educated, Ambitious, and Respected Sisters from very diverse backgrounds, with extensive experience in the fields of Business, Ministry, Education, Law Enforcement, Communication and Social Work.
