Community Connections
RKL Education Foundation, Inc
The RKL Education Foundation, Inc. (RKLEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Gwinnett County, GA. Established in 2002, the Foundation is dedicated to uplifting communities and transforming lives through mentoring, education, and service. Our Vision is a thriving community where every individual – especially youth – has the opportunity, support, and confidence to reach their full potential. Our Mission is to empower underserved youth and families to achieve their highest social, economic, and academic potential. We accomplish this by funding and delivering educational programs, mentoring initiatives, seminars, and support groups that create lasting opportunities for growth and advancement. Through programs such as Future Men of Distinction (FMOD), that focuses on education, professionalism, responsibility, and emotional intelligence, and the Alpha Youth Academy (AYA), which helps young men avoid further involvement with the criminal justice system, RKLEF equips youth with the tools to thrive and lead. Our Annual Greater Atlanta HBCU College Fair connects students and parents with admission and financial aid officers from colleges and universities across the country, opening doors to higher education. By investing in youth and creating pathways for leadership and success, RKLEF strengthens entire communities—offering real opportunities for empowerment, advancement, and positive change
