Live Music Movement Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit group with the vision to broaden the enjoyment and appreciation of jazz, blues and soul music. The Live Music Movement Foundation was founded by a group of Los Angeles musicians and music lovers to provide opportunities to enjoy listening and dancing to live music. Even though Los Angeles is known for entertainment, finding venues where patrons can enjoy both music and dancing can be challenging. The Live Music Movement Foundation seeks to change that says foundation President, Kathy Drayton. “We want to provide an intergenerational, innovative approach to music performance. And we want to present it in venues where you’re welcome to do more than sway in your chair. We want you to get up, move and enjoy the music!”
