Founded in 1996, The Fund for Women and Girls emerged from a commitment to respond to vital needs affecting women, girls, and families throughout Chester County. Operating from West Chester, PA, this community-centered organization has spent nearly three decades building relationships with local nonprofits, families, and residents who share a vision of equality and security for all. The Fund's work is grounded in deep community knowledge and personal connection—staff members conduct site visits with grantees, listen to community voices, and use that insight to guide both philanthropic and advocacy efforts.
