About The Muskegon Irish American Society
The purpose of the Society is to educate its members and the people of Muskegon County Michigan and surrounding areas regarding Irish American History, culture, and heritage through meetings, publications, activities, arts, music and humanities and to operate the Michigan Irish American Hall of Fame.
The City of Muskegon is the home of the Muskegon Irish American Society. We are located in a beautiful part of West Michigan, on the shores of Lake Michigan.
The Muskegon Irish American Society was founded in 1973 by many interested in the history, culture, and people of Ireland, who were inspired by an Irish-born architect and community activist in Muskegon.
