Turkish Cultural Center New York

Founded in 2006 by Turkish Americans committed to building peace and friendship between nations, Turkish Cultural Center New York serves the Ronkonkoma, NY community and beyond as a beacon of cultural understanding and dialogue. This non-political, non-governmental non-profit was established with the vision that cultural exchange and education could promote peace not just between the United States and Turkey, but throughout the world.

Serving as a gathering place for the community, Turkish Cultural Center New York welcomes all members regardless of age, race, color, religion, creed, citizenship status, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic. The organization believes that when people from different backgrounds come together to learn and share, they develop genuine respect and appreciation for one another. Through intercultural and interfaith programs, the center creates spaces where prejudices are challenged and false conceptions are replaced with authentic understanding.

Operating throughout New York, Turkish Cultural Center New York demonstrates its commitment to community by organizing events that celebrate Turkish heritage while fostering dialogue across all segments of society. From cultural trips and art exhibits to educational workshops and community dinners, every program is designed with the belief that shared experiences and learning build stronger, more cohesive communities. For residents of Ronkonkoma, NY and the greater New York region, Turkish Cultural Center New York represents a dedicated resource for those seeking to deepen their understanding of Turkish culture and connect with others who value peace, dialogue, and friendship.
