Founded to bridge progressive LGBTQ organizations and communities at the University of California - Los Angeles, Queer Alliance represents a unique commitment to fostering understanding and cooperation among diverse groups in Los Angeles, CA. The organization was established to serve as a bastion of greater cooperation and understanding, recognizing and actively addressing past conflicts and tensions while building toward a more unified queer community rooted in respect and equity.
At its core, Queer Alliance envisions creating a self-sustaining community that genuinely supports all queer and trans undergraduate students at UCLA. The organization places particular emphasis on uplifting and supporting Queer and Trans People of Color, working intentionally to create more intersectional spaces within the broader queer community.
