I’m Lauren, a Holistic and solution-oriented psychotherapist licensed in the state of New York, and founder of Every Body Therapy. I practice through a social justice, trauma-informed, body liberationist, and Health at Every Size (HAES)® lens. Along with my clients, I aim to co-create a therapeutic space that is grounded in empathy, collaboration, healing, and insight.
A session with me will feel both supportive and challenging. I aim to encourage you to embrace discomfort in order to get to the root of the issue. From there, we will work as a team to process, honor, and heal whatever lies beneath. I contribute the clinical expertise, and you contribute your own insight and experience.
I hold two B.A.s from Boston University in Psychology & Philosophy and Forensic Developmental Psychology. I also received my Masters in Clinical Social Work from The Columbia University School of Social Work. I am ASDAH, NASW, and EMDRIA affiliated.
I am IFS and EMDR trained and have post-graduate training in Substance Use/Chemical Dependency from the Yale School of Medicine as well as in CBT-E. In addition to my private practice work, I act as a guest facilitator for Global Girls Prep's Women-In-Action program, connecting with students who are interested in deepening their learning of body politics and the relevant systemic and societal harm. I also offer consulting for those looking to further their mental health competency within their workplace or school.
Peter Zinkovetsky is the founder of Avenue Law Firm. He is an experienced and highly rated New York attorney who represents local and international clients. Originally from Marseille, France, Stephanie moved to the U.S. to complete her post-high school studies. She is a graduate of Brandeis University (2001, B.A. in Sociology, Legal Studies, and Peace and Conflict Studies) and Northeastern School of Law (2005, Juris Doctor). She had the opportunity to live, study, and work abroad including in Paris, France, and throughout the Southeast U.S. Stephanie was admitted to the New York bar in 2006.
During law School, Stephanie interned for various firms including at Coudert Frères in its international arbitration department. She began her career as a judicial clerk to Justice Charles Ramos at the New York Supreme Court’s Commercial Division. In addition, Stephanie focused her general commercial practice at three New York law firms focusing on the creation, acquisition and representation of American subsidiaries of foreign companies. Today Stephanie counsels clients regarding day to day corporate governance issues, and prepares and helps negotiate all necessary contracts . She also has extensive experience with intellectual property protection; namely, trade secrets and trademark. Finally, she handles various employment issues for her corporate clients.
Most of her clients are French or French-speaking. with her dial citizenship and fluency in both English and French, Stephanie is accustomed to helping foreign clients develop their U.S. business successfully.

In this lively hands-on class you’ll learn to make corn tortillas from masa flour (it’s easier than you think) using your own hands and a traditional tortilla press, build the most delicious tacos you’ve ever tasted— chicken pibil tacos (or tofu pibil for our veg friends). Learn the art of making Authentic Mexican Guacamole, Salsa Verde, and Pica de Gallo also from scratch. Your Mexican Fiesta nights will never be the same once you've mastered the classics from an expert instructor.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, wearing your mask. You will be seated with your booking party and socially distanced from other guests. Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment.
