Students will develop confidence in expressing themselves through the visual and performing arts. Curriculum will build on students life experience facilitating the development of a body of work that reflects their unique point of view. Students will learn to use the tools associated with each discipline engaging in productive struggle as students explore a variety of media, documenting their work so they can reflect on their growth as an artist. The Mission High School Visual and Performing Arts course offerings are: Visual Art, Vocal, Dance, Photography, Art 1: Sculpture, Mariachi, Modern Band, World Music and Media Arts.
