Since its founding in 1973 as the Association of Black Lawyers of Westchester County, the Westchester Black Bar Association has been a cornerstone of the legal community in White Plains, NY. Incorporated as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization in 2005, we remain steadfastly committed to our core mission: advancing the science of jurisprudence while serving the public interest. Our organization brings together attorneys, law students, paralegals, and legal professionals who share a commitment to improving the integrity and standards of professionalism within the legal community. We are dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the judiciary and court system, promoting public confidence in the administration of justice, and upholding the principles of equality, fairness, and justice for all regardless of race, color, sex, creed, or national origin.
