About Western Cook County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
Since 1983, the Western Cook County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. has been a cornerstone of youth development and community leadership in Westchester, Illinois. This organization brings together 61 dynamic mother leaders who share a unified vision: nurturing the next generation of African-American leaders through meaningful relationships, intentional programming, and community impact. The chapter operates under the philosophy that "The Power to Make a Difference" is accessible to every child when given proper guidance and opportunity. What sets this Westchester-based organization apart is its holistic approach to child development, weaving together leadership training, volunteer service, philanthropic education, and civic responsibility into a cohesive mission. Members and their children participate in constructive programs spanning education, culture, recreation, health, and social development—all designed to strengthen both individual children and the broader community. The chapter's current theme, "Empowering our children to be B.O.L.D. – Brave Optimistic Leaders Determined for success," demonstrates their ongoing commitment to creating an environment where young people can grow into confident, compassionate, and capable leaders. Families in the Westchester community are invited to learn about the chapter's rich history, diverse programming, and documented successes in transforming young lives.
