About Williamson County Area Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated
Founded in 1979 by visionary Simone Sheats, the Williamson County Area Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated emerged from a passionate recognition of community need in Brentwood, Tennessee. What began as a group of 20 committed mothers has grown into a premier organization dedicated to nurturing African-American youth ages 2-19 through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic responsibility. The chapter's roots run deep in the Brentwood community, with members honoring the legacy of the women who established this chapter and continue to make a difference in children's lives. The organization was officially chartered in September 1980, becoming the 172nd chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. The Williamson County chapter reflects the organization's core values of empowering young leaders and strengthening families within the community. By bringing together mothers who share a commitment to youth development and community service, the chapter creates a supportive environment where children can grow, learn, and develop into responsible citizens. For nearly 45 years, families in the Brentwood area have relied on this organization to provide unique opportunities for character development and community engagement that extend far beyond typical youth programming.
