Serving the Fort Lauderdale, Florida community and beyond, Women of Color Empowerment Institute, Inc. is a membership-based not-for-profit organization committed to building relationships and uniting women of color leaders to create meaningful change in their communities. With a mission to enhance and expand leadership among women of color, the Institute addresses critical health care disparities, social inequities, and systemic barriers that disproportionately impact women of color.
The organization's multifaceted approach combines education, mentorship, and community engagement. The Institute supports and encourages women leaders to run for and win public office while developing capacities for social change that empower women to transform their communities.
