UCPBA Ottawa is a community organization that brings together business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
The mission of UPCBA Ottawa is to host engaging events, bring together likeminded people from business and professional settings, support trade between Ukraine and Canada, and support our members in whatever way possible. UCPBA Ottawa is also a member of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) Ottawa branch, and a member of the Ukrainian Canadian Professional and Business Federation.
The Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Ontario Provincial Council (UCC-OPC) is the voice of Ontario’s Ukrainian community and brings together under one umbrella Ukrainian Canadian organizations through the local UCC branches in Bradford, Hamilton, London, Niagara, Ottawa, Oshawa, Toronto and Windsor.
The UCC-OPC represents the organized Ukrainian Canadian community in Ontario before the people and Government of Ontario, promotes linkages with Ukraine and identifies and addresses the needs of the Ukrainian community in Ontario to ensure its continued existence and development for the enhancement of Canada’s socio-cultural fabric.
There are currently over 1.2 million Canadians of Ukrainian background living in Canada, and over 300,000 living in the Province of Ontario.
The Ukrainian Canadian Civil Liberties Association (L'Association ukrainienne-canadienne des droits civils) is a non-partisan, voluntary, non-profit research and educational organization committed to the articulation and promotion of the Ukrainian Canadian community's interests and to the defense of the civil liberties and human rights of Ukrainians in Canada and elsewhere.
The Ukrainian National Federation is based across Canada and endeavors to unite all Ukrainian Canadians.
Ukrainian Canadians, numbering over one million five hundred thousand in 2017, have made a great contribution to the growth and development of Canada over the past century. Together with their children and future generations, they enjoy the fruits of their labour and the respect of the Canadian public.
Our objectives:
- To unite all Ukrainian Canadians, regardless of their political, religious or other beliefs;
- To promote good Canadian citizenship;
- To strengthen and expand the place of the Ukrainian community in Canadian society;
- To serve the Ukrainian Canadian community by representing its common interests, protecting its reputation; and to be the wellspring out of which the best of our rich cultural heritage will flow into Canada.
- To inform fellow Canadians about Ukrainian history and culture and promote accurate information about Ukraine.
- To support constructively the independence of Ukraine.
