Founded in 1964, the Saskatoon Greek Community represents a proud and committed group dedicated to preserving Greek Orthodox faith and heritage in Saskatoon, SK. Though modest in size, our members are deeply passionate about passing down the rich cultural traditions and spiritual values that have defined our community for generations. We trace our roots to the early Greek immigrants who established the foundation for Greek Orthodox life in Saskatoon, and we continue their important legacy by serving the spiritual and cultural needs of our people. Our mission extends beyond our immediate congregation to embrace the broader Saskatoon community through active participation in local celebrations, festivals, and charitable endeavors. We believe in living out our Orthodox faith through service, supporting those in need through food assistance and financial aid, and celebrating our shared heritage with neighbors of all backgrounds. The Hellenic Language School stands as a testament to our commitment to cultural continuity, offering both youth and adults the chance to connect with their Greek roots. Our dance groups, community events, and partnerships with local organizations demonstrate that despite our small numbers, the Saskatoon Greek Community remains a vital and engaged member of the local fabric. We invite all who share in our values of faith, family, and community service to join us in celebrating the beauty of Greek Orthodox tradition and contributing to the vibrant multicultural landscape of Saskatoon, SK.
