About Nigerian Community in Greater Cleveland
Nigeria Community in Greater Cleveland Area (NCGC) was established in 1991, as a socio-cultural organization of Nigerians and Americans in north east Ohio. NCGC’s goal is to promote unity, and advocate for peace and cultural exchange between the various nationalities in north east Ohio. Our core values are honesty, integrity, and family values. Over the years, NCGC has focused on programs in the areas of entrepreneurship, job training, cultural exchange and youth development. NCGC plays a key role in bridging the information gap between Americans of African decent and Africans, in efforts to smoothen the misconceptions and stereotypes between these groups. NCGC has awarded twenty scholarships to college students in north east Ohio under its signature scholarship program.
