Vision: To promote and advocate for justice, equity, equality, inclusion, and opportunity for Asian Pacific Americans (APA) in the Arizona legal profession and the community-at-large.
Mission: The Arizona Asian American Bar Association (AAABA) is a voluntary bar association for individuals of all backgrounds, including attorneys, judges, law professors, law students, and community members with an interest in the Arizona legal profession. Our mission is to:
1. Encourage and promote the professional growth and advancement of our members by providing professional development and educational programs and mentoring and networking opportunities;
2. Cultivate an understanding of the issues facing the APA legal community and the APA community-at-large and promote and advocate for justice, equity, equality, inclusion, and opportunity through the Arizona legal profession;
3. Engage with the community-at-large by providing opportunities for leadership, education, and community service, and by encouraging cooperation with and between other bar and community organizations;
4. Promote access to legal education and diversity in the legal profession by assisting law students financially and academically.
The Arizona Asian American Bar Association (AAABA) is composed of attorneys, judges, members from the public, and law students. Our members are representative of the Arizona legal community, with attorneys practicing in both the private and public sectors and judges overseeing case loads from the local to the federal levels. Our members from the public are local business owners and our law student membership includes students from all three Arizona law schools.
