We are Southern Arizona’s local chapter of the nation’s largest organization uniting people who are LGBTQ with parents, families, friends, and allies. We have been building a supportive community since 2011 with those identifying as LGBTQ and their allies in various communities across Southern Arizona.
PFLAG Sierra Vista is fortunate to have leadership with the combined experience, education and enthusiasm needed to keep our local chapter running! Whether it’s facilitating our monthly meetings, signing up for community events, or sending out e-mails, these are the people who work behind the scenes to keep us organized and connected as our community grows.
PFLAG, both national and our chapter, are non-sectarian, non-denominational, and not affiliated with any religious institution.
PFLAG Sierra Vista supports people who identify as LGBTQ, their families, friends and allies with support, group meetings, and resources. We also provide educational resources and opportunities to members as well as the community at large to learn about sexual orientation, gender identity, and LGBTQ issues. Furthermore, we participate in a variety of community events while advocating for equal rights for people who identify as LGBTQ.
