Instead of carols and Christmas cheer, sadness takes over the city. The magic-makers transform into ordinary people and unite to save the world from the impending Armageddon caused by the disappearance of Christmas and to restore the girl's faith in miracles and hope for a bright future. The film is in Ukrainian with English subtitles.

This is the 20 Anniv of the short film by Emmy-nominated filmmakers Tiffany Shlain & Ken Goldberg, with the star of the film Vanessa Hidary. Join us for the 20 year anniversary screening of the hit Sundance film by Emmy-nominated local filmmakers Tiffany Shlain & UC Berkeley Professor Ken Goldberg, The Tribe. The unorthodox, unauthorized history of the Barbie doll and the Jewish People explores the complex, humorous, and moving intersections of American Jewish identity and the Barbie doll. The evening will include a screening of the 15 minute film, a discussion with the filmmakers and a performance from spoken word artist, Vanessa Hidary who is flying from New York for this occasion. It will be a great night of film, discussion and performance! Co-presented by Reboot.
